"A top player." Bukayo Saka spoke very highly of the play of the promising teammate

Arsenal's star player Bukayo Saka has praised the playing qualities of the Gunners' defender, Jurrien Timber.

Quote: "Timber? He's a top player, and I'm happy he's showing it. With the ball, he's so composed, calm, and confident. He always keeps a cool head, stays humble, and works very hard. I'm glad he's now getting the recognition he deserves," Saka told CBS Sports.

• Saka on the brink of breaking Arsenal record that has stood since 1938. He needs just one goal

Reminder: Last summer, Arsenal signed Timber from Ajax for €40 million, with high hopes for the talented player. However, a serious injury kept him out for the entire last season.

• Gabriel Jesus has an unexpected option for continuing his career

This season, the 23-year-old full-back has established himself as a regular starter for the London side, registering one assist in eight matches for the red-and-whites.
