A team overhaul expected as Chippa United announces departure of multiple players

With plenty of time left before the start of the next South African Premier League season, Chippa United has decided to undergo a dramatic squad transformation.
Details: The club has officially announced that 18 players are leaving the team at once. Among those departing are notable names such as Andile Jali, Craig Martin, and Bienvenu Eva Nga.
Earlier, it was reported that Chippa United had made a decision regarding the head coach position. The new manager is Sinethemba Badela, who has not previously worked in the Premier Division.
Last season, Chippa United finished 11th in the South African Premier League, earning 31 points from 28 matches. They avoided the relegation zone by just four points.
Reminder: Head coach Miguel Cardoso explained why Mamelodi Sundowns did not take advantage of the special summer transfer window to strengthen the squad ahead of the Club World Cup.
