A step towards fairness: IOC to ban transgender women from competing in women's tournaments
Many believe this is the right and just decision!
Details: According to renowned and respected journalist Martyn Ziegler, citing The Times, the International Olympic Committee is set to ban transgender women from participating in women's competitions at the Olympic Games.
The decision reportedly comes after scientific studies revealed that transgender women have significantly enhanced physical attributes due to hormones, making their participation in such tournaments unfair and contrary to the spirit of sport.

It is reported that the official announcement of this decision will be made at the beginning of 2026.
Previously, women's sports have seen recurring scandals over the participation of transgender women in female competitions. In the summer of 2024, the Olympic boxing tournament was won by Imane Khelif from Algeria. However, many suspected that Khelif was a transgender woman. Subsequent examinations revealed the absence of a uterus and the presence of internal testes. Chromosomal testing confirmed an XY karyotype in the Algerian athlete, and hormone tests showed testosterone levels equivalent to those of men. Following this incident, many female athletes spoke out against transgender women competing as biological women in tournaments.
