A star player from Bayern Munich commented on the possibility of a transfer to Real Madrid

Bayern Munich's full-back Alphonso Davies commented on a potential transfer to Real Madrid.

The Canadian gave a non-committal response, stating that he would decide on his future after the Copa America.

“I'll think about it when we're past this tournament. My main focus right now is with my national team, to help my team go far in this tournament”, quotes Alphonso Fabrizio Romano.

Bayern Munich had been negotiating with Davies for a new contract for an extended period, but the parties failed to reach an agreement.

It was previously reported that Bayern decided not to extend the player's contract. The agreement is valid until next June, when he can leave the club as a free agent.

In the recently concluded season, the Canadian international played 43 matches across all competitions, scoring 6 goals and providing 12 assists.
