West Ham are open to signing the Arsenal player, but with special conditions.

Details: According to West Ham Zone, the Hammers’ club doctor, Raja Barra, has confirmed the club’s interest in the 28-year-old Ukraine national team leader and Arsenal player Oleksandr Zinchenko. However, the club wants to ensure that Zinchenko’s injury risk is minimal.

“The club will take a closer look at Zinchenko’s calf injury history, as well as any age-related changes that go beyond the norm, considering how many matches he has played at the highest level. Yes, he is 28, which is not a major concern, but his multiple injuries and irregular playing time last season are a cause for some worry,” said club chief doctor Raja Barra.

How exactly the player’s medical assessment will be organized remains a mystery, as Zinchenko still has a year left on his Arsenal contract and there has been no official offer from West Ham yet.

At the moment, the club is exploring all possible ways to contact the player’s representatives.

Oleksandr Zinchenko joined Arsenal in 2022 from Manchester City for €35 million, but has struggled to secure a regular starting spot in recent seasons, forcing him to look for a new club.

According to Transfermarkt, the Ukrainian’s current market value is €20 million.
