Barcelona is set to trigger the release clause in Nico Williams' contract as early as next week. However, as the transfer saga intensifies, a real scandal is erupting—the young star has once again found himself the target of hostility from Bilbao supporters, according to Marca.

Just last week, Nico's face was painted over on the iconic mural featuring him, his brother Iñaki, and Iker Muniain. The club condemned the act of vandalism and even promised to restore the artwork. Yet only days later, Nico's face was once again defaced—this time sprayed over with paint and accompanied by the offensive phrase “rata de mierda,” which translates as “dirty rat.”
