The German Football Association has extended the contract of national team head coach Julian Nagelsmann, reports Fabrizio Romano.
The contract is now valid until the 2026 World Cup. The agreement with Julian included a special clause for an extension upon reaching the Euro 2024 playoffs.
Today, the German national team secured a convincing 2:0 victory over Hungary. With this win, they became the first team to advance to the playoffs of the current European Championship.
Notably, Nagelsmann has become the youngest coach to lead a team to the European Championship playoffs.
In the final group stage match, Germany will play against Switzerland on June 23.
