The legendary German playmaker is preparing to open a new chapter in his football life by taking on the role of a coach.

Details: Former Real Madrid and Germany midfielder Toni Kroos is seriously considering starting a career as a head coach at the professional level. This is reported by the respected Spanish outlet Diario AS.

The German veteran has officially informed the Royal Spanish Football Federation (RFEF) of his intention to take its professional coaching course next season. Successfully completing the program would allow the 36-year-old to earn a Category A coaching license, which permits him to work at the highest level of club football.

Since retiring from the sport, Kroos has focused on developing his youth academy in Madrid. However, his unique tactical vision and interest in managing the game have prompted the former midfielder to consider taking charge of a senior team in the foreseeable future.

It is worth noting that during his glittering playing career, Toni Kroos won the 2014 World Cup with Germany, lifted the UEFA Champions League six times with Bayern Munich and Real Madrid, and claimed more than 30 club trophies.
