A return is brewing! Chelsea leader ready for Barcelona switch

The Spanish defender has responded to a journalist's question about a possible return to Barcelona.

Details: At the latest press conference, 27-year-old Spanish national team and Chelsea left-back Marc Cucurella addressed a reporter's question regarding a potential comeback to Barcelona.

Cucurella isn’t ruling out a return to his boyhood club, but made it clear that such decisions are never easy:

"If Barça call? I’d have to think about it (hypothetically).

It’s not just about me—I also have to consider my family’s interests and what’s best for all of us.

Right now, I’m not thinking about it, but if an offer comes in, we’ll see what decision is made," Cucurella admitted.

Marc Cucurella came through the ranks at Barcelona. He left the Blaugrana in 2020, joining Getafe for €11.8 million. In the summer of 2022, Cucurella signed for Chelsea and has since featured in 154 matches for the Blues, scoring 9 goals and providing 12 assists.

Cucurella’s current contract with Chelsea runs until 2028, with Transfermarkt valuing him at €50 million.
