The future of Cole Palmer at Chelsea is suddenly up in the air. The 23-year-old is increasingly considering a move away from Stamford Bridge as early as this summer.
According to The Sun’s journalist Samuel Luckhurst, Palmer is frustrated with both the team’s results and the tactical choices made by head coach Liam Rosenior. The player believes changes to the playing system have restricted his freedom on the pitch, fueling his growing discontent.
Europe’s elite are already circling—Manchester United, Real Madrid, and Bayern Munich are all reportedly interested in landing the Chelsea star. However, Chelsea have slapped a hefty £150 million price tag on their leader.
For the record, Palmer joined the London club in September 2023, arriving from Manchester City for £40 million. Since then, he’s become one of the Blues’ key men: he has racked up 122 appearances, netted 53 goals, and provided 32 assists.
