According to AS, Raul has grown tired of waiting for an offer to lead Real Madrid's first team and is exploring various options to advance his coaching career.

Raul is open to considering opportunities outside his native club and country. His aspiration is to further his career as a coach.

It has been reported that Felix Magath, the legendary German coach who once managed him at Schalke, recently reached out to him, offering a new venture in Germany. Magath has an offer to lead an unnamed Bundesliga team that is near the top of the table, and he envisions having the legendary "Number 7" as his assistant.

Raul has been in charge of Real Madrid Castilla since 2019, during which time he won the UEFA Youth League in the 2019/20 season.
