Arsenal's players and executives have joined forces to support four-year-old fan Zak Fleming in his battle against cancer and help his family raise £339,000 for life-saving therapy.

Details: According to British tabloid The Sun, the young Gunners fan was diagnosed with stage-four neuroblastoma at the age of two. After learning about the child's ordeal, the London club invited Zak and his brother to the Emirates, where the boy spent the day with his heroes — Declan Rice, Bukayo Saka, Eberechi Eze, head coach Mikel Arteta and legendary goalscorer Ian Wright.

As further support, the club gave the family a unique match-worn shirt signed by every member of the first-team squad, which will be sold at a charity auction to help cover medical expenses. The boy's relatives have already raised around £100,000, while the widespread backing from Premier League stars will help them quickly secure the remaining funds needed for his vital course of treatment.

It is worth noting that charitable initiatives have long been an integral part of Arsenal's club philosophy, with the Arsenal Foundation regularly supporting programs that assist children's hospitals and football fans suffering from serious illnesses. The attention and genuine care shown by the team's leaders have given the young supporter a powerful boost of positive emotion — something so important in his fight against a dangerous disease.
