Reports suggest that Gattuso is the leading candidate for the Torino managerial position, as his candidacy was personally put forward by the club’s sporting director, Gianluca Petrachi.
Currently, negotiations between the parties are at an advanced stage, with Gattuso offered a contract until 2028 with an extension option, as well as a salary of €1.5 million per year.
Gattuso’s last job was with the Italy national team, where he was unable to secure qualification for the World Cup, losing to Bosnia and Herzegovina in the decisive match.
