The management of London’s Crystal Palace is working urgently behind the scenes to find a new head coach for the team.
Details: According to The Touchline, citing Sami Mokbel, English football legend Frank Lampard is officially being considered as one of the top candidates for the Eagles’ managerial post.
Nevertheless, Lampard is viewed as a backup plan for the London club. The former Chelsea and Everton boss will only become the priority if Andoni Iraola officially declines the offer to lead Crystal Palace. The club’s executives are doing everything possible to lure the Basque specialist, but at the same time, they are hedging their bets.
It’s worth noting that the legendary Chelsea captain is currently working with Coventry, whom he led to the Premier League for the first time in 25 years.
Reminder: Former Chelsea star Filipe Luís is set to take charge of Monaco.
