Inter Miami are beginning a new chapter and have finally decided on the identity of their new first-team head coach.

Details: Inter Miami's management have officially announced that they have reached an agreement with 52-year-old Argentine coach Cristian "Kily" González. The former Argentina midfielder will take over as head coach of the first team and will begin his duties as soon as he receives the necessary work permit in the United States.

Until González and his coaching staff officially arrive, Guillermo Hoyos will continue to serve as interim head coach. The Florida club's press service also thanked Hoyos for his commitment, dedication and willingness to lead the team during the transitional period, which began in April.

It is worth noting that, during his playing career, Kily González represented European clubs such as Real Zaragoza, Valencia and Inter Milan. He also made 56 appearances for the Argentina national team, where he played alongside Lionel Messi in 2005. As a coach, he has experience managing Argentine clubs Rosario Central, Unión de Santa Fe and Platense.
