In his last appearance for Brazil, centre-back Gabriel Magalhães picked up an injury — and it has turned out to be a serious one.
Details: According to ESPN, the Brazilian will be sidelined for roughly a month due to a thigh injury. As a result, he is in danger of missing eight Arsenal fixtures across all competitions.
Matches Gabriel could miss:
- Tottenham (H)
- Bayern Munich (H)
- Chelsea (A)
- Brentford (H)
- Aston Villa (A)
- Club Brugge (A)
- Wolves (H)
- Everton (A)
Meanwhile, Germany head coach Julian Nagelsmann recently confirmed that forward Kai Havertz has suffered a recurrence of a previous injury. Fortunately, it is a minor issue, and Havertz is expected to return to action soon.
Reminder: Riccardo Calafiori, who missed Italy’s match against Moldova with a thigh issue, has been ruled out of the final qualifier for the 2026 World Cup against Norway.
