It is reported that Trent believes he was blatantly deceived during contract negotiations. Before accepting Real Madrid’s offer, he was given assurances by Xabi Alonso—promises that, so far, have not been fulfilled. This includes both his role in the team and the amount of playing time, which the defender finds insufficient.

Trent Alexander-Arnold joined Real Madrid this summer from Liverpool for €10 million and signed a contract until 2031. During his time with the Galácticos, Trent has made just 10 appearances, providing 2 assists.
