A legal process has been ongoing for two years concerning Memphis Grizzlies NBA player Ja Morant.

As reported by the Memphis Commercial Appeal, it has been extended again, at least until the fall of 2024. Stephen Leffler, hired by the plaintiff Joshua Holleman, will replace attorneys Rebecca Adelman and Leslie Ballin.

In 2022, Morant punched Holleman, who was 17 years old at the time. According to the new lawyer for the teenager, he will need several months to familiarize himself with the case before he was hired. He also noted that he will involve an additional attorney. Previously, a Tennessee state judge ruled that Ja Morant acted in self-defense.

As a reminder, Paris Saint-Germain goalkeeper Keylor Navas may face certain legal issues as his former assistant has filed a lawsuit against the Costa Rican.
