A La Liga star has left the French national team's camp

Atlético's leader Antoine Griezmann will not be able to help the French national team in the upcoming friendly matches.

According to L'Équipe, the Madrid club's forward left Didier Deschamps' team after a medical examination revealed a minor ankle injury.

It is currently unknown whether Didier Deschamps will call up another player to replace Griezmann.

In the current season, Griezmann has scored 19 goals and provided 7 assists in 38 matches across all competitions. For the French national team, Griezmann has scored 44 goals and provided 38 assists in 127 matches.
