A funny tradition in the Spanish national team: unusual bet between Lamine Yamal and Nico Williams

Lamine Yamal and Nico Williams are evidently very good friends and always look forward to meeting and chatting during the Spanish national team's training camps. Recently, they shared a funny tradition with the official Spanish national team Instagram account that has developed between them.

In the video, you can see Nico and Lamine playing rock-paper-scissors to decide who will be the last to step onto the field before the start of the match.

In a brief interview, Williams explains that this tradition started with the European Championship and now they do it constantly. This time, Nico conceded to his friend, but he smiled and mentioned that there will be another game in Valencia in a few days, where the victory might be his.

It should be noted that yesterday the first leg of the Europa League quarter-finals between the Netherlands and Spain ended in a 2-2 draw. Nico Williams scored the first goal in this match, while Yamal didn't manage to make a mark in terms of scoring.

The return leg between these teams will take place on March 23, in Spain, at the Mestalla Stadium.
