A solid squad is forming at Hajduk Split ahead of the new season. One of the new signings is Ivan Rakitić.
According to Fabrizio Romano, the Croatian midfielder is leaving Saudi Pro League club Al-Shabab and will sign a contract with Hajduk until 2026. Despite enjoying his time in Saudi Arabia, he wants to play in Croatia.
Notably, Hajduk Split has assembled an impressive group: with Nikolo Kalinić as the director, Ivan Perišić as a teammate, and Gennaro Gattuso as the coach, these changes have influenced Rakitić's decision.
It's worth mentioning that Gattuso, who signed a contract with the "Whites" until the summer of 2026, has already arrived in Croatia and begun preparations.
Ivan Perisic has moved to Hajduk Split from Tottenham on a six-month loan. It is noted that after the expiration of the loan period, the 34-year-old Croatian will become a full-fledged player of the club.
