A former Sri Lankan national player has been banned from coaching in Australia for 20 years


A former Sri Lankan national player and coach of the Australian team Cricket Victoria has received a harsh ban.
Details: According to ESPNcricinfo, Dulip Samaraweera has been prohibited from coaching in Australia for 20 years. He was found guilty of a serious breach of the CA Code of Conduct while working with Cricket Victoria. The misconduct involved inappropriate behavior towards a team player.
Cricket Victoria's CEO, Nick Cummins, released a statement condemning Dulip Samaraweera's actions.
Quote: "We firmly support the decision made today by the Code of Conduct Commission, which has disqualified Dulip Samaraweera for 20 years. We believe his behavior was extremely disgraceful and a betrayal of everything we stand for at Cricket Victoria," he stated.
Reminder: An English cricket club was fined £100,000 for incidents of racism and discrimination from 2001 to 2010.
