Argentinian forward Carlos Tevez, who previously played for Juventus, has stated that he is not opposed to returning to Italy, as reported by Gazzetta dello Sport.

According to the current coach of Independiente, he puts his heart into his work every day. He loves Italy very much and wouldn't mind returning there, this time as a coach.

"Italy is in my heart. I would gladly return, perhaps as a coach. Serie A is one of the best leagues in the world. I believe I need to mature more to earn the opportunity to work in it," Tevez stated.

He also added that he is greatly inspired by Antonio Conte for his passion and obsession with winning.

The 40-year-old Argentinian has been in charge of Independiente since the summer of 2023. Under his leadership, the team has secured 13 victories in 28 matches, with a goal difference of 32:22. In the first stage of the season, the club finished 5th out of 14 teams in the Argentine championship.

Current Italian champions Napoli are seriously considering inviting Antonio Conte to be their head coach starting from the next season. The Neapolitan club has prepared a three-year contract for the coach.
