The Serie A club is prepared to offer Antonio Conte a salary of €8m per year
Current Italian champions Napoli are seriously considering inviting Antonio Conte to be their head coach starting from the next season.
According to Football Italia, the Neapolitan club has prepared a three-year contract for the coach. Napoli is prepared to offer Conte €8m per year, which amounts to a total of €24m for three seasons of work.
It's noted that club president Aurelio De Laurentiis has been in close contact with Conte for several months.
Recall that recently it was reported that the favorite for the Napoli coaching position would be Vincenzo Italiano, who currently manages Fiorentina. Italiano's contract with Fiorentina expires in the summer, making this option very appealing to Napoli's bosses.
Conte has been without a job since March 2023, after leaving Tottenham. The 54-year-old coach is most famous for his work with Juventus, Inter, Chelsea, and the Italian national team. His coaching achievements include league titles in England and Italy.
