Luton Town, having been relegated from the Premier League last season, has struggled at the start of their Championship campaign. In four matches, they have managed just one draw and three losses. To address this, the team has decided to bolster their squad.
Details: The club has officially announced the signing of midfielder Victor Moses, a former Chelsea player. During his time at Stamford Bridge, he made 128 appearances for the Blues, scored 18 goals, and won the Premier League and FA Cup in 2017 and 2018. In 2021, he moved to Spartak Moscow for £4.5 million.
Quote: "We spoke with Victor at length. He trained with us last week and played 60 minutes in a behind-closed-doors game. We made the decision because we believe he can come in and help us," said Luton Town manager Rob Edwards.
Moses revealed that he had several offers from Europe but chose to play in England. He aims to help the team return to the Premier League.
Quote: "I had a few offers from Europe, but I told my agent that I wanted to stay here, and here we are. I'm very happy and honored to be at this club, and I can't wait to get started," he shared.
Reminder: Chelsea's summer transfer window has been quite chaotic, but the Blues remain intent on signing top-quality players.
