A famous insider has assessed the possibility of Tuchel working at Man United

There is a lot of speculation surrounding the possible resignation of Manchester United head coach Erik ten Hag and his successor, and Bayern manager Thomas Tuchel could end up at Old Trafford for the time being, if the media are to be believed. However, Fabrizio Romano has a different opinion on the matter.

It is reported that Manchester United boss Sir Jim Ratcliffe has held initial talks with the German, but the insider reports that it is too early to talk about his employment in the Mancunian camp:

"We're waiting to see if Manchester United decide on the future of Erik ten Hag at the end of the season - it's definitely something we'll have to keep an eye on. Despite rumours about ten Hag's future and that Thomas Tuchel could be the preferred replacement for the club, I don't know what is happening with the other managers at the moment.

Nothing is known with Tuchel at the moment. There has also been no contact between Tuchel and Bayern for him to stay at the club and change his mind about leaving this summer; what will happen in the coming weeks I don't know, but so far they have not discussed the possibility of changing their mind and keeping him," Romano told The Daily Briefing in a column.
