Bayern Munich continues to work on finding a new head coach to replace Thomas Tuchel at the helm of the team next summer.

According to La Repubblica, Bayern approached Antonio Conte with an offer to lead the team next season. The Italian specialist is reportedly the favorite for the position.

It is claimed that Conte turned down Bayern's offer because he is determined to resume his coaching career in Serie A. For instance, he would be very interested in an offer from Juventus or AC Milan.

Conte, who played for Juventus and coached the Bianconeri from 2011 to 2014, winning three consecutive Serie A titles.

The coach has been without a job since leaving Tottenham in March 2023. The 54-year-old coach is also known for his work with Inter Milan, Chelsea, and the Italian national team.

Earlier reports suggested that Conte could take over Milan in the summer.
