Newcastle are fighting to prevent a transfer fire sale.

Details: According to ChronicleLive, Newcastle have no intention of selling Bruno Guimarães despite increasing interest from Arsenal.

The club’s position has only hardened after Sandro Tonali’s £100 million departure. Newcastle’s management are determined not to lose another key player and will only consider a sale on their own terms.

Even if Bruno himself submits a transfer request, it’s not expected to automatically change the Magpies’ stance. The club sees the Brazilian as a pivotal figure in their project and have no intention of bowing to Arsenal’s pressure.

The Gunners still rate Guimarães highly, but at this stage a deal looks extremely difficult: Newcastle are intent on keeping their captain and avoiding another painful blow to their squad depth.

It’s worth noting that Bruno Guimarães’ contract with Newcastle runs until 2028, and Transfermarkt currently values the Brazilian midfielder at €70 million.

Reminder: €60 million for a new gem! Newcastle closing in on sensational World Cup star transfer.
