José Mourinho once again reminded everyone why his press conferences are a show in their own right.
Details: At the pre-match media session ahead of Matchday 31 in the Portuguese league between Benfica and Moreirense, the ‘Special One’ delivered a brief theatrical pause.
Right at the start of the event, Mourinho, in no hurry, delved into something on his smartphone screen, completely ignoring the assembled reporters in the room. When one attendee dared to break the silence with a question:
"Can we start, sir?" the journalist asked.
Without lifting his eyes from the phone, José simply shot back:
“Wait, let me check the news.”
It’s worth noting that the Benfica vs Moreirense clash is scheduled for today, April 25th, at 19:00 Central European Time.
