Chelsea midfielder Conor Gallagher has decided on his future, which does not involve the London team.

According to Spanish outlet AS, the English player is eager to join Atlético Madrid and is urging Chelsea to make every effort to negotiate with the La Liga club. Gallagher has also spoken with Atlético player Kieran Trippier about life in Madrid.

It is worth noting that last year, Chelsea captain César Azpilicueta announced his departure from the club and signed a contract with Atlético Madrid until June 30, 2024. Now, Gallagher could reunite with Azpilicueta.

Additionally, Atlético is considering a transfer for Girona's striker and last season's top scorer, Artem Dovbyk, as a replacement for Álvaro Morata. Previously, Álvarez declined to extend his contract with Manchester City and requested the club to set a reasonable price for his sale.
