The midfielder faces a tough surgery and a lengthy recovery ahead.

Details: As reported by Fabrizio Romano on his X social media page, 24-year-old Sassuolo and Canada national team central midfielder Ismaël Koné will be out for around six months due to a severe fracture of both the fibula and tibia, which he suffered in today's World Cup match against Qatar.

It is reported that Koné is currently in the hospital, where his mother is looking after him as he prepares for surgery.
