A Cape Verdean international in RS Berkane’s sights

Bubista, the former manager of the Blue Sharks, is keen to bring Ryan Mendes to the Moroccan club.

RS Berkane could soon welcome an experienced new signing. The Moroccan club is reportedly in advanced talks with Cape Verdean international Ryan Mendes regarding a potential transfer during this summer’s transfer window.

Bubista, the former Cape Verde national team manager who recently took charge of RS Berkane, is keen to bring in the Cape Verde national team captain.

The Cape Verdean manager knows Ryan Mendes very well and values his experience as well as his attacking qualities. Talks between the various parties are continuing with the aim of reaching an agreement.

A one-year contract, with an option to extend, is reported to have been offered to the Cape Verdean striker. Ryan Mendes has been a free agent since his contract with Igdir FK in Turkey expired this summer.

But the 36-year-old Cape Verdean could be set for a new challenge in Morocco.
