A belated holiday gift: Max Verstappen buys a luxurious 33-meter yacht
Formula 1 champion Max Verstappen was recently spotted in the Italian port city of Viareggio, according to Gazzetta dello Sport. Reports suggest the racing star was there to collect his newly acquired Mangusta GranSport 33 yacht.
Verstappen reportedly purchased the yacht two years ago, but only now is it ready for delivery from the shipyard where it was built. While the exact price remains undisclosed, estimates place the cost of the vessel between €6 million and €12 million.
The yacht exudes luxury, measuring 33 meters in length and offering amenities such as at least five guest cabins, a fitness center, a beach club, and indoor and outdoor dining areas.
It remains unclear where the yacht will be moored—whether it will stay in Viareggio or be relocated to Monaco, where Verstappen currently resides.
The yacht's name, Unleash the Lion, reflects Verstappen's personal brand.
The Formula 1 legend seems to be starting the year on a high note, and the excitement doesn’t stop there. Verstappen is set to become a father in just a few months!
