The city of Cutral Co in Argentina’s Neuquén province hosted a grand unveiling of the world’s tallest statue of Lionel Messi. Towering at 26 meters, the monument sets a new global record, surpassing the previous 21-meter statue of Argentina’s captain that was erected in India.
During the inauguration, the city’s mayor emphasized that the monument is destined to become the region’s newest tourist landmark.
