€135.8 million! Real Madrid prepare for the most expensive transfer in their history

Madrid is gearing up to shake up the transfer market like never before.

Details: According to journalist Pepe Alvarez, Yan Diomande is set to become the most expensive signing in Real Madrid's history. Taking into account add-ons, the final fee for the Ivorian winger’s move from RB Leipzig could exceed €135.8 million.

However, the transfer has yet to be officially announced. Real and RB Leipzig are still locked in intense negotiations, with the Madrid side hoping to send the 19-year-old for a medical as soon as possible.

If all performance-related bonuses are triggered, Diomande will set a new transfer record for Los Blancos.

It’s worth noting that last season Yan Diomande played 36 matches for RB Leipzig across all competitions, scoring 13 goals and providing 10 assists. Transfermarkt currently values the Ivorian winger at €90 million.
