Kazakhstan: a chance to end their winless run
John van ’t Schip’s side opened the tournament with a 1-1 draw against the Faroe Islands before losing 2-1 to Slovakia. As a result, Kazakhstan have won just one of their last eight competitive matches.
However, their home record looks considerably stronger: Kazakhstan have won three of their last four matches on home soil, keeping clean sheets in all three victories. Ramazan Karimov is expected to feature in attack again, while Dastan Satpayev will miss the match with a hip injury.

Lilian Popescu’s side began their Nations League campaign with a 2-0 defeat to Slovakia before drawing 1-1 with the Faroe Islands. Moldova have not won a match since November 2024.
Their winless run has now reached 17 matches, during which the team have suffered 12 defeats and recorded five draws. Moldova have scored in six of their last seven away matches, but have lost five of them.
