In Berlin, two teams who have had outstanding campaigns face off, but they arrive at the final with very different objectives.
Bayern have already clinched the Bundesliga title and are now aiming to complete the golden double. Kompany’s squad has hit top form at just the right time: in the last round, the Munich side demolished Köln 5-1, and Kane once again reminded the world why he’s regarded as one of the best strikers on the planet.
Michael Olise is also in sensational form — he was named the Bundesliga’s Player of the Season for 2025/26. The Frenchman is making a difference almost every game.
But it’s not all plain sailing for Bayern. Neuer’s participation is in doubt, and Davies could miss the final due to injury.
Stuttgart, meanwhile, come into the match as dangerous underdogs. The team enjoyed another vibrant season and have already proven in the Cup that they can grind out tough wins — their semi-final victory over Freiburg was a real statement.
The big question: can Stuttgart impose their tempo and withstand Bayern’s pressure for the full 90 minutes? Because if Munich hit their stride, they’re almost impossible to stop.

Match prediction:
Bayern are clear favourites for several reasons. Vincent Kompany’s men have had a stellar season: they won the Bundesliga, have shown attacking firepower, and head into the final with a formidable front line. In their recent head-to-head meetings, Bayern also held the upper hand — they’ve already beaten Stuttgart this season, and the historical stats over the past few years heavily favour the German champions.
Stuttgart have their own trump cards. They’ve impressed in the cup run and have already shown they know how to get the job done in decisive matches, having won the last edition of the tournament.
On paper, Bayern are overwhelming favourites, but I believe Stuttgart will have something special to offer as well.
My prediction: both teams to score – yes.
