The fifth-ranked player in the world, Alexander Zverev, has become the third semi-finalist of the Miami Masters tournament.

In the quarterfinals, the German athlete confidently defeated Hungarian tennis player Fabian Marozsan, who is ranked 57th in the ATP rankings, and surprisingly advanced to the quarterfinals.

Zverev defeated Marozsan in straight sets. In the first set, Zverev left no chances for his opponent and won 6-3. In the second set, Marozsan managed to challenge the nominal favorite, but Zverev secured a crucial break in the final game and won 7-5.

Zverev's semi-final opponent will be the winner of the match between Carlos Alcaraz and Grigor Dimitrov

In the other semi-final, Yannick Sinner will play against Daniil Medvedev.
