Today in Turin, the final match of the first round of the ATP Finals group stage wrapped up, showcasing a confident performance from world number two Alexander Zverev, representing Germany, as he defeated neutral-status player Andrey Rublev.
Details: Over the course of both sets, Zverev didn’t concede a single service game to Rublev. However, he managed to secure two breaks and took each set with a scoreline of 6-4.
This victory places Zverev at the top of his group, tied with Casper Ruud, who delivered a stunning win over Carlos Alcaraz earlier today.
