World No. 4 Alexander Zverev, representing Germany, confidently advanced to the Round of 32 at Roland Garros 2024.

In the second round, the 27-year-old tennis player defeated the experienced Belgian David Goffin, who is ranked 115th in the ATP rankings, in straight sets.

Goffin managed to challenge Zverev only in the first set, where neither player lost a game on their serve, and the German won the tiebreak 7-4. However, the next two sets ended with identical 6-2 victories for Zverev.

It is worth noting that Zverev defeated the legendary Rafael Nadal in the first round.

Zverev's opponent in the Round of 32 will be the winner of the match between Italy's Luciano Darderi and the Netherlands' Tallon Griekspoor.
