Zouma's Agent Demands Payment from Chelsea for Player's Transfer to West Ham
Almost four years have passed since Chelsea defender Kurt Zouma's move to West Ham for 35 million euros. However, it turns out that some parties still have unresolved financial issues.
Details: According to the Daily Mail, Zouma's agent Saif Rubie has filed a lawsuit against former Chelsea director Marina Granovskaia over what Rubie claims is her involvement in the non-payment of transfer commissions.
Last year, a jury acquitted Rubie for sending Granovskaia a threatening letter to criminal court regarding the Zouma deal, and since then, he has launched his own case against Granovskaia.
Under FIFA regulations, an agent acting on behalf of the selling club is entitled to 10 percent of the transfer fee, which means Rubie is owed about 3.5 million euros.
Reminder: It was previously reported that Chelsea has made the transfer of Ipswich's top forward Liam Delap a priority for the summer.
