Zhang Zhilei shared his plans for potential title fights
In his latest fight, Zhang Zhilei decisively defeated Deontay Wilder, knocking him out in the fifth round. The Chinese boxer has now shared his future plans.
Details: According to Zhang, he aims to pursue title fights, with the first being against Daniel Dubois, followed by a matchup with Oleksandr Usyk.
Quote: "Neither of them will be able to escape me. First, I’ll take on Dubois, and then Usyk. That’s my goal," he stated in an interview with Seconds Out.
However, Zhang noted that these fights won't happen in the near future. This is due to Dubois recently fighting Anthony Joshua and Usyk set to face Tyson Fury. Therefore, Zhang is considering a rematch against Joseph Parker as an alternative.
Reminder: Daniel Dubois has mentioned that he still has unfinished business with Oleksandr Usyk. The British fighter believes that his next fight against the Ukrainian will end very differently.
Saudi Arabia’s Royal Court advisor at the ministerial level and current head of General Entertainment, Turki Al-Sheikh, has released the undercard for the boxing event scheduled for Saturday, December 21.
