Racing Club have received a timely boost ahead of tonight’s must-win clash against Colo Colo in the Copa Libertadores. According to TyC Sports, midfielder Matías Zaracho has recovered from a muscle tear and is back in contention for Gustavo Costas’ side, although the club has yet to officially release its squad list.

Zaracho last featured in the 1–1 draw against Colo Colo in Santiago. He was a substitute in the following match against Defensa y Justicia, but a muscular injury sidelined him for several weeks. Now fit again, the midfielder is expected to be available for selection.

Left-back remains a question mark for Racing, as Gabriel Rojas has recovered from a knee issue but may not start ahead of Ignacio Rodríguez. In midfield, Richard Sánchez and Agustín Almendra are competing for a starting spot, while Adrián Fernández and Luciano Vietto are battling to lead the attack.

Racing can secure a spot in the round of 16 with a win. A draw would see them return to the top of the group on goal difference. The final matchday against Fortaleza, also at home, could determine first place in Group E.
