Italian midfielder Nicolo Zaniolo will once again be playing in Serie A.
Europa League 2023/24 champions Atalanta have officially announced the loan signing of Zaniolo from Galatasaray for one season. Atalanta paid Galatasaray 6.4 million euros for the loan.
The Turkish club's official report states that Atalanta also has the option to purchase Zaniolo for 15.5 million euros, plus 2 million in bonuses.
Last season, Zaniolo was on loan at Aston Villa but failed to make a significant impact. In 25 Premier League matches, the 25-year-old midfielder scored only 2 goals and did not provide any assists.
In the next season, Atalanta will compete in the UEFA Champions League.
