Zambo Anguissa will have to wait a little longer before making his return with Napoli
His comeback was scheduled for this weekend
The Cameroonian international has not been called up for Saturday's Serie A match against Hellas Verona.
However, Zambo Anguissa was expected to return to competition on 28 February when Napoli travelled to the Marcantonio-Bentegodi Stadium in Verona. The Italian press had reported that the midfielder had recovered from his back pain and was training with his teammates.
But in the end, he will not be part of Antonio Conte's squad for the Matchday 27 of Serie A, according to Sky Sport. The Cameroonian, who has been out since November 2025, is being rested by the Italian tactician because he has not fully recovered from his back pain. Napoli will therefore have to do without their Cameroonian midfielder once again.
