Zamalek makes a request to the Egyptian Football Association ahead of the cup final: What is it!

Zamalek's board of directors held an urgent meeting Wednesday evening to address critical football matters, primarily focusing on arrangements for the upcoming Egypt Cup final against Pyramids FC.
Full Stadium Capacity Request
The club has formally petitioned the Egyptian Football Association to allow full spectator attendance at Cairo International Stadium for the June 5th final. In an official letter, Zamalek emphasized the importance of fan support in motivating the players to clinch the trophy.
Injury Blow Ahead of Final
Meanwhile, the team suffered a major setback as midfielder Ahmed El-Gafary has been ruled out of the final—and the remainder of the season—due to injury.
A club source revealed to Kooora:
*"El-Gafary suffered a torn quadriceps shortly after recovering from a hamstring strain. He’s devastated by the recurring injuries and has begun a 10-day rehabilitation program, effectively ending his season."*
Wael El-Qabbani, Zamalek’s football director, confirmed:
"Even a brief appearance in the final is impossible. We’ve decided to prioritize his long-term fitness, ruling him out of all remaining matches."
Key Absence in Title Decider
El-Gafary’s absence deals a tactical blow to Zamalek as they prepare for the high-stakes clash against Pyramids. With the board pushing for a packed stadium and the squad adjusting to injury setbacks, the stage is set for a dramatic cup finale.
