Zamalek Deny Reaching Deal with Rulani Mokwena Amid Coaching Rumors

Zamalek have officially denied reaching a final agreement with South African coach Rulani Mokwena, despite widespread reports suggesting he had signed on to lead the team next season.

Just a Name on the List

According to club sources, Mokwena is only one of several candidates proposed by agents, and no formal negotiations have taken place. His recent underwhelming stint with Wydad Casablanca is also said to be a factor working against him in the current evaluation.

Interim Coach to Finish Season

For now, Ayman Al Ramadi remains in charge and will lead Zamalek in:

Their final league clash against Pharco

The Egypt Cup final against Pyramids on June 5

As Zamalek continue their search for a permanent head coach, no decision has been finalized, and the door remains open for multiple options.
