Speaking directly to the club's supporters and expressing his delight in bringing the squad to Egypt Cup triumph, Ayman El Ramadi has formally announced his departure from Zamalek SC.

The veteran coach guided Zamalek to a dramatic victory over Pyramids FC in the final, winning via penalty shootout.

No Waiting Game

In a statement on Facebook, El Ramadi made it clear that he’s not waiting for a board decision about his future.

"It's an honor to have coached Zamalek. I fell in love with this fanbase in no time. This chapter is one of the most beautiful periods of my life. Zamalek fans are incredibly loyal."

He added:

"It’s not true that I’m waiting for the board’s decision. I gave myself a 2-day break after the Cup final. Then I’ll consider any offers. I’m a professional coach, not an amateur. I don’t believe in unclear futures or waiting endlessly—this is not professional conduct."

Farewell With Respect

Despite parting ways, El Ramadi reiterated his deep admiration for the White Castle faithful:

"My love for the fans demands that I respect my profession. I have to prepare for the next project. I’m sure Zamalek fans wish me success just as I do for them."

Clear Closure

El Ramadi closed his message with a final statement:

"The rumors about me waiting indefinitely for a decision from the board are baseless. I wish Zamalek and their wonderful fans all the best."
