The lawyer of Zamalek star Ahmed Mostafa “Zizo” has announced legal action against those who have “crossed the line” in recent attacks on the player. In a strongly worded statement, lawyer Ashraf Abdelaziz confirmed that the legal route will be taken in response to what he described as false accusations and offensive behavior from Zamalek officials.

Zizo's Loyalty and Professionalism Defended

“Zizo has been a model of commitment and professionalism for six years, He has served Zamalek under three elected boards and three interim committees without sparing a drop of sweat.” Abdelaziz stated.

The lawyer added that the player deserves appreciation, not “defamation, threats, and attacks on his reputation,” while affirming that all necessary legal measures will be taken to protect Zizo’s name and rights.

Zamalek Confirms Departure and Investigation

Earlier, Zamalek officially announced that Zizo will leave the club at the end of the current season, with contract renewal talks having collapsed. The club also confirmed that the 29-year-old winger has been referred to investigation for what it labeled as “offensive comments” made in the media.

Uncertain Future for Zizo

Zizo’s next move remains unclear, but the legal tension and public fallout have further highlighted the growing crisis at Zamalek, as they struggle to manage key player departures amid continued instability.
