Youssoupha Dabo Quits AS Vita Club to Join Libya – Bruno Ferry Takes Over
The speculation is finally becoming reality—Youssoupha Dabo is set to leave AS Vita Club after just months in charge. The Senegalese coach, who arrived in Kinshasa with strong ambitions, is now entering his final hours at the helm of the Congolese giants.
A New Chapter Begins for Dabo
According to multiple Congolese sources, Dabo’s exit is a mutual decision, prompted by new commitments. He has reportedly joined the technical staff of the Libyan national team, working under Aliou Cissé, his compatriot and current Senegal head coach.
Dabo is also enrolled in a CAF A License training program, making regular involvement with Vita’s squad increasingly difficult.
Vita Club Grants Early Release
The former Azam FC coach is said to have requested an early exit, which was approved by club president Bestine Kazadi. The management reportedly commended Dabo’s professionalism and wished him success in his future endeavors.
Until a new head coach is appointed, Bruno Ferry, Dabo’s assistant, will take over as interim coach.
